Gas Turbine Jets go 250 mph!

The jets are capable of flying up to 250 miles per hour or more, though pilots try to keep them below 200, Addison Sr. said. They can fly upwards of 1,000 feet in altitude, but usually stay between 200 and 400 feet, with periodic dives close to the ground.

RC Driver to race at Brickyard 400

RC Driver magazine, a monthly publication covering radio control car hobby news, products and events, will join with Chevy Racing to produce radio control car races as one of the fan-friendly activities on offer for the Chevy Day at the Brickyard promotion Friday, July 27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Eleven Chevrolet NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers are scheduled to participate. Radio control car races have been a favorite element of Chevy Day at the Brickyard for fans and drivers since the event first debuted in 2005.
